Works well; only minor complaint is is that whenever the pole sustains any minor contact/impact, the lower section of the inner extending piece strikes against the inside of the outer pole (hope that translates), so theres a bit of a clanking sound; could have been prevented if there were a second, stabilizing ring inside the pole to keep the extending shaft piece from having enough leeway to strike against the inside of the pole, but not a huge deal.
